:) Hi all just booked the Empress opf the seas 3rd time on her and 9th time on RCCI it will be our 64th cruise over all. Haven't been on her since the new name . first cruise on her first year a 4 day cruise to the Bah.1990 ,then to Bermuda from NYC in august of 1999 ! This cruise is a 11 day southen Caribbean out of San Juan great ports of call on 2/26/07 Can't wait to see how shes looks now .But i bet they didn"t make the cabins any bigger LOL !!:D Just got off the Crown Princess a 9 day cruise out of NYC doing the Caribbean & Bermuda .Great cruise . Never had a bad one !

Just returned this morning off of the Empress.

 

Regardless of your cruising experience, everyone can find something calm to do. I think the glitz of the larger ships would be an inappropriate match for the laid-back lifestyle of Bermuda. The Empress is a great match.

 

The one "Don't Miss" would be several evenings spent in the Schooner Bar with an extremely talented and friendly musician, Mr. Bill Forrest. A consummate professional, Bill appeals to all ages with his beautiful piano music, superb talent and knowledge of music history.

 

One downside was the closure of all the hot tubs.

 

Yes, there are safes in all the rooms; yes, bring extra hangers and yes, you will have a small shower.
