San Diego--Help!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn on the Bay in San Diego? Am I making a good choice? Is there a better choice?

From what I've heard, you've made an awesome choice. I'll be using Priceline (probably) and hope to get so lucky.

It is real nice you will like it. its right on the Bay.

It's a fabulous choice for convenience to the port. There are definitely "nicer" resort type hotels in San Diego, but we loved waking up at the Holiday Inn and looking out our window and watching our ship dock for us to come on board! You can literally walk your luggage across the street and check in. Convenience can't be beat.

 

8 previous cruises, Celebrity, Carnival and RCI, Panama Canal, Hawaii and all Caribbean destinations. Enchantment scheduled Oct 2004

We didn't stay there, but we spent several hours on two occasions in their outdoor restaurant/bar. Good food, great service. The hotel itself was very clean, especially the bathrooms, and it had a small outdoor pool. You cannot beat the location! We were staying at The W a few blocks away, but when we saw a RCI ship at the dock, we just HAD to go down there

 

It's close to the Tram, as well as the Old Town Trolley. If you have some time to check out the city, let me know I have lots of suggestions.
