Excursion sold out - HELP!

I TOLD my husband that Atlantis Aquaventure would sell out, but no: he and his father insisted that was a myth.

SO. I just checked Carnival, and now it's sold out (at least, it is not showing up in the list of available activities), and I'm honestly not much interested in doing anything else in Nassau.

Is there any other way to do it, either by buying tickets at Atlantis or maybe another travel company?

Please help!

That's a shame that Carnival has sold out already! Your ticker says 9 days until you sail so it may be cutting it close, but you can try booking through Majestic Tours. I've read good things about them on these boards and I'm currently inquiring about that pass with them myself:

I don't think it includes transportation to/from Atlantis, you might have to arrange for that on your own.

Thanks so much!!!

I am going to try that link :)

Yes, nine days - I'm excited but now a little disappointed :( I'm praying that I can book through this company you've shown me.

I knew someone here on CC would have an answer! :)

I just used (Dec. 3) Majestic Tours for their Atlantis Aquaventure. They are very easy to work with. You do need to get your own transportation buy that is only $4.00 per person for a taxi. If you don't get an email right away back then just give them a call. Karen is the one that was helping me out, she is a doll to work with. I paid $110.00 per person the same price as a day pass thru Atlantis.

Laura,

Was the weather ok for swimming while you were there? I checked online and they predict 64-75 degrees, but I'm not sure if that's still too cold to get in the water.

Did you enjoy the waterpark? I am really looking forward to it and hoping it's not chilly.

Although, I'm currently snowed in, with freezing rain, so 64 degrees sounds like paradise right now!

It was very cool in the morning but it warmed up very nicely from about noon on. My DD and I had a ball. After we worn ourselves out on the waterpark we had a great time just sitting by the pools and people watching. We got to Atlantis about 9am. The waterpark does not open till 10 but we just walked around and enjoyed ourselves.

Sounds excellent!! I've been worried we'd get there and the water would be freezing :)

This is our first cruise and I just sort of dove in head first on booking - saw a commercial for Carnival, checked the price, and bam! booked a cruise lol After wards I found cc, and wish I'd known to look here first. :o

I just emailed them and got back a form reply ("Thanks for your interest! Check our website for great deals!"), so I will give it a day and if I don't get something more specific I'll call them.

Thank you so much! I have been so upset today but hopefully they can get us in :)

Have you gotten any response yet? I emailed them on Wednesday night but so far, no response other than the form message that you also received. Good luck, I hope you are able to get a pass!

Hi. We were at Atlantis Dec 7. The weather was about 55-60 degrees with a 10-15mph wind. Needless to say it was very cold. The water was so warm. We preferred to be in the water rather than out of it. We would just sit there up to our neck, trying to stay out of the wind. If you expect 70 degree weather, you will be just fine.

We bought our tickets there. There was only about 50 or so people in the water. Had the park all to ourselves. It was so much fun. If you like waterparks, you will love Atlantis. The theming is incredible.

We are going in about a week and a half. Can we just buy day passes at the Atlantis if we choose to go to the water park. Or do we have to do it online before we arrive?

If you are traveling during the holiday season, it's wise to buy in advance.

Day passes are available at the front desk, same day.. first come first served, BASED ON OCCUPANCY. During the holiday season, occupancy is at it's highest, so there's a chance no passes will be sold.

It's a gamble.

Otherwise, passes are $110 pp. Available at the front desk or in the casino.

Okay, I just sent Majestic an email about tix for the 30th of Dec. Hopefully they still have room. We are going back to the Bahamas this summer but with our 5 kids. Dh and I are going to check it out first.

My fingers are crossed for you. Hoping they are selling tickets for that day.

Did you try booking a room at Comfort Suites? It's right across the street from Atlantis and it offers full access to the Atlantis facility sometimes at a fraction of the cost. We, family of four, did this in November and saved over half of what the ship was charging.

I got my CC authorization form and sent it right back this am. I did notice that at the bottom it said "Subject to availability". So I just called and karen said that there are black out dates but there are some availabilities. Hmmm.... she said that she'll get my confirmation to me. But I am a bit nervous.

Erinphae- Did you get a confirmation form?

I'm curious about the price too, their website says $120 and notes that it includes transportation. I think on another page they do say that if you want transfers with your tour, it's $10. So I wonder if the $110 is the price for just the pass?

I emailed them last Wednesday night and still haven't heard back so I'm planning to call tomorrow. Maybe I should have tried the "Book Tour" link instead of the general email one.
