negc Posted December 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2010 Problem is, now there's gonna be a line of others stating, "Where's mine?" That may be so, unfortunately, but it shouldn't be a reason for RCI not to do this. RCI is especially active in promoting such charities as the Make a Wish Foundation and other such worthwhile ventures. When we stopped in Labadee last month on Liberty of the Seas, large quantities of humanitarian supplies were offloaded for distribution to Haitians suffering the effects of the earthquake and the cholera outbreak. This sort of thing needs to be encouraged and we can't stop doing this sort of thing because there will be some who want to scam their way into benefitting from the largesse Kudos to the people at RCI for their generous gestures towards those deserving of help.:)
jotabecu Posted December 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 17, 2010 This is the type of positive acts that happen every day both by corporations like Royal Caribbean and ordinary citizens. Wonderful to have them recognized.
