TV on Liberty of the Seas

Can we bring our small portable DVD player and plug in the tv on LOTS? It would be great if the kids could watch movies.

No, you cannot hookup dvd player to the televisions. Hooking up has been disabled. Your kids will have to use the small screen unless you have a real suite. They have dvd players.

Yes you can. But the TV in your stateroom will be running fairly recent movies all day long so you may not want to bother.
However, they won't have a great offering of kids' movies.

I've heard people say that a universal remote allows you to hook an item to the TV, but I'm not tech-savvy enough to remember what they said. I haven't done it myself.

At worst, they can watch the small DVD player.

We were on the LOTS in September in a GS and the kids were in a JS. We did have a DVD player they did not. However, the info about taking a universial remote is correct. My son bought one in St. Marttins and used it in his JS to access the aux inputs to hook up the Xbox. Otherwise you can not get them to work.
