Options for on board purchases

Onboard purchases are all put on your cruise card and settled at the end of the trip with cash, credit card or travelers check

We always use a CC. Our DS is traveling with his GF and does not want to use a CC. If they decide to pay in cash, do they need to go to the service desk upon boarding and put money in their on board account? If so is there a minimum?

Everything goes to the onboard account. The cashiers can not take cash.

If you account is not secured with a CC, Debit Card, or enough cash, the purchase will not go through.

Solution:

Have a CC on file, then pay off with cash later if you want.

Have enough cash on file before you shop, drink, etc.

If you scroll down the page, you will find this discussed in depth yesterday.

As stated previously, everything purchased on the ship goes onto your account. We always settle with our card. I'm not carrying that much cash around.

Thanks for sharing pictures of that suite. I'll stick with a balcony and save the money for another cruise.

I agree.

In lieu of a party, I decided to kick it up a notch for the DW's 50th birthday. Normally we stay in a balcony.
