Garden Villa question

Planer's Edge

Recommended Posts

When researching for our GV stay last May, I found posts from several people who had the Limo drop them at 2 different airports. Your Concierge will arrange the Limo and your needs close to the end of your cruise.

There were 8 of us in our party, so we actually had a "chaser" Lincoln SUV that held all of our luggage! We had extra time before our flight, so the Limo driver took us on a mini tour of Vancouver. Our baby grandson fell asleep in his car seat in the Limo, so the Lincoln driver would watch him while we all got out for pictures, etc! What a great perk this is being in the Garden Villa!

Enjoy!

We had 2 of us flying from Long Beach and 3 from LAX following the Mexican Riviera cruise. Stretch Lincoln took us to Long Beach and then continued to LAX (would seem very similar to FLL and MIA). We too were asked if we would like a second car to follow to carry our luggage; didn't need it but it was a nice gesture. On disembarkation morning, we were escorted down a private elevator, put in the front of the line and taken personnally to the car waiting out front. Flawless service.

I assume if you are taking Amtrak they would transport you to the Amtrak station? Or if you are not leaving till the next day then to the hotel you are staying overnight in? I am just checking options for an Alaska cruise for 2012. Thanks for any answers.

i assume that no matter the ship the garden villa perks are the same, is that correct?

Could someone tell me approximately how much each additional person in the suite costs? For example is it 10K ish for the first two and then how much more per others?

The perks are all the same.

The cost depends on the cruise and when you book it...no solid answer...

i've noticed that on the 'cheaper' weeks, the 3rd and 4th person rate starts at $899 plus tax port charges and insurance.

on the more expensive weeks, it goes up to about 1099 and on the most expensive weeks its about 1250, again all plus tax, port charges and insurance.

just for grins though, i priced out a crystal cruise for next year's holiday. it's two weeks and even at 2 for one, it's twice the price of the villa...and it only accommodates two or three comfortably.

so maybe the villa is still the biggest 'bargain' on the high seas.

Its all in the timing..I remember on our 7 night Jewel 12-5 cruise the GV was going for around $8,000 for 4..I think the additional were $199 plus..granted it was last minute..

Yes it is a bargain..
