misguidedangel Posted December 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2010 The ships still should have the "taste of the Nation" buffet fare everyday. Some ships have a Tandoori station on the ship. I know the Splendor has it at the aft pool area. You would have to look at the deck plans for the ship, but you might be suprised to find a Tandoori station on many ships now in the open air Lido area. Many of the ships have on the last day of the cruise a Chocolate Buffet and that is when you go get lunch and then line up for dessert....bring a camera cuz the food porn is to die for....... SMSACE6 Posted December 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2010 I dont know what ship you are on, but if you like Indian food, hopefully it has a Tandoor station. I enjoyed it for the first time on the Freedom last September, also the Indian vegetarian dinner first evening in the MDR is excellent. Im not sure about all ships, but at least on the Liberty in 2009 and again this year on the Freedom one part of the buffet area was "taste of the nations". I liked some days more than others. The Caribbean day stands out in my memory with some not bad jerk chicken and rice and peas, fried plantains etc. Hope this helps.:)

Max Circus Posted December 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2010 Just off Legend and they have themed buffets. I recall American, Caribbean and Italian and there were others. Legend doesn't have a Tandoor station but I recall it was on both Freedom and Valor - so probably only that class of ships. And last sea day they had a Chocolate buffet with fresh fruiton skewers, chocolate fountain and a myriad of desserts. Looked pretty good although didn't try it. tha sista Posted December 19, 2010 #9 Share Posted December 19, 2010 I was just on the Miracle and the Taste of Nations was not published in the Fun Times and did not include Indian all week. I went up everyday to check. There were two days of Caribbean, Italian, French and American...that was disappointing!
