choosing a seating time

I think that there still is some sophistication on cruise ships. I don't think the open seating or anytime dining is what everyone wants. I think that there should be one dining area and one seating for those travelers who want to dine leasurely and dress for dinner. Perhaps the second seating and the upper dining room could be set for jacket and tie dining and formal wear on those nights. Also no children under 18 unless they are properly dressed and the parents have trained them to dine like ladies and gentlemen. I have seen charming children at the late seating, dressed to the nines while others look like they should be locked in the game room.

I know I'm an old fogie but dining with slobs isn't enjoyable!
