Solstice - Best Sailaway Spot

We enjoyed sailaway from Ft. Lauderdale from the Sunset Bar, which is aft on the same deck as Lawn Club. Since it spans the back of the ship, it offered excellent viewing of both sides of the channel.

We liked it so much that we enjoyed all of our other sailaways up there as well!

Have a fabulous cruise :)

Where is the best place to be on the ship when the Solstice pulls out of port in Ft Lauderdale.

The balcony of the Penthouse Suite. :D

Actually there are lots of good spots; some enjoy the pool, some the Lawn Club, some their private balcony - all of these are likely the most popular spot. If the weather happens to be bad, the bar at the front of the ship near the top floor would be a good spot.

I concur with Mrs Tiki; the Sunset Bar is a great place for sailaway. Just make sure you have a bunch of friends or a nice group of people (like a roll call) to share your experience with - it really sets the tone for an awesome cruise ;).
