Dream Home Early

I was following her on KroozCams and it looks like she skipped one of the ports and headed back north of the Bahamas instead of between the Bahamas and Cuba.

Did they maybe schedule a short itinerary to give the crew Christmas Eve off or maybe to get her decorated for the Christmas cruise on Saturday?

We were on the Dream right after Thanksgiving and she was already decorated for Christmas. I'm sure it's for the special 9 day cruise. Lynda

Thanx,

Did not know about the special 9 day cruise.

Sure am glad that nothing is wrong with her or her passengers.

It makes sense what Carnival is doing. Avoids all that Christmas traffic and gives you a couple of days to get settled in before the Holiday.

Again, Thanx.

They sometimes have to schedule these odd cruises to avoid embarkation and debarkation on Christmas Day.

In a fit of boredom one night, I checked into their schedules to see how many ships either embarked or visited ports on Christmas day. I was surprised at how many ships Carnival had homeporting or in ports of call on Saturday. I think RCI only had one ship in a port, and the 2 homeports were in countries that I don't believe celebrate Christmas.
