Azamara best value in premium cruises!

Just returned from 12 days on the Quest. Had previously sailed on Quest 4/2009. We also sailed on Oceania 8/2010 and there was a difference in the brands.

When we saw that Larry Pimentel had come onboard with Azamara decided to try AZ again, since we had experienced what he had done in other travel endeavors. Glad we did, changes - many and all good! Crew motivated, food exceptional and amenities for 1st time AZ sailers and return passengers awesome!

 

IMHO no comparison for value now between the 2 lines and with that said, having sailed on Seabourn and Silverseas, see no reason to book again with them and can't wait to go on another AZ cruise soon!

There is indeed a reason to book with Seabourn or silversea and that is the size of the cabin. Unless you book a sky suite you will be in quarters much smaller than on those two luxury lines with a small bathroom. That is fine and a great way to sail for less money. But if you need or want more space (still less in the sky suites than the normal suite on the other two) you will be paying about the same and still not be all inclusive.

wripro is right, standard rooms on Oceania (equivalent to Azamara) are a much smaller 175 square feet compared to any suite on Seabourn which are 277 square feet
