Izzblizz Posted December 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2010 We were excited to go snorkeling with Tony's sand dollar cruises next Wednesday in Lucaya. However, got e-mail this morning that his afternoon catamaran cruise (1 to 4 pm) is cancelled due to a ship inspection, and asking us to switch to 9 am cruise that day. Looking at the forecast, I think it is going to be pretty chilly in the morning. (also ship gets in at 8 AM and we are going to have to push it to get there in time). Do you think it is ok to just ask for our deposit back, as that is not the time we orginally booked?

Izzblizz Posted December 23, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Good point. Sent response back: We were sorry to hear our afternoon snorkel trip was cancelled. We had scheduled our activities around the 1 PM trip, and will unfortunately not be able to reschedule to 9 AM. However, we were looking forward to our snorkel trip and will try to book with you on any future trips to the area. We trust we will not be charged our original deposit, as the time has changed? Thanks so much for letting us know in advance that our tour has been cancelled. Best Regards.

Izzblizz Posted December 24, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted December 24, 2010 He graciously refunded our money, and also said that there would still be a spot if we changed our minds and decided to take the 9 AM sailing.
