Splendor of the Sea great price

RC is offering a great price on Splendor of the Seas from Lisbon to Venice. Does anyone have an idea of why this cruise has such a low price for 8 days?

Supply and demand, baby, supply and demand. If you are interested in the itinerary, jump on it. Splendour is a fine ship.

 

Edited to add -- looked at the itinterary. It really does look like a great deal. April is not a bad time to be in the Med either.

I think that I can add some more specific reasons for this one. ;)

 

1. It is late for college spring break and early for many school spring breaks. Not as likely a date for many people as a result.

 

2. Royal Caribbean has been messing around with Splendour's schedule like a mad fiend because of the dry dock schedule, and for a while, kept changing dates. That probably killed a lot of earlier bookings.

 

Those ARE great prices. If only our spring break were two weeks earlier! (but it's not).

Did that cruise a couple years ago when it was 11 days. THE BEST CRUISE we have had on RCCL. Classic ship with the best crew. If I could I would do it again in a minute.

We were open for a cruise and were thrilled to find this cruise with this price. We have booked the lowest priced balcony ever for us.

Hi we are booked on this cruise having been bumped from our original booked Apr 14-22nd. We got a $200 obc for our troubles and a JS aft from our JS d1 at a $500 savings! Only issue is we have not been able to see our shore & land excursions. Called RCL & of course they were of no help. Called Shore & Land Excursions directly & no help either. They are looking into it (keep fingers crossed they actually are ;)) but wonderind if it might be because of the itinerary switch.
