Rare mitsugirly Posted July 28, 2011 #101 Share Posted July 28, 2011 There is a fax form- http://www2.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Gift_Order_Form_2011_1.pdf If the phone works, than I'd assume that you can use the order form and just put in the item information. I am thinking of doing this myself. I'm not liking this statement on the form: "It is possible that the item ordered may not be available. Norwegian Cruise Line reserves the right to substitute a gift of equal or greater value." That makes me a little nervous. I'd rather talk to someone and make sure it's available. I don't want anything else they have. I wouldn't use it. :)
oceanseagle12 Posted July 28, 2011 #102 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I can understand that. Thanks for the heads up, but I can't imagine they would try to substitute something for this offer. They don't really have a "like" item and would only build ill will. If I use the fax I will put on there "NO SUBSTITUTIONS" so I can contest any bogus charges with my credit card company. ;)
FEckeT Posted July 28, 2011 #103 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I can understand that. Thanks for the heads up, but I can't imagine they would try to substitute something for this offer. They don't really have a "like" item and would only build ill will. If I use the fax I will put on there "NO SUBSTITUTIONS" so I can contest any bogus charges with my credit card company. ;) Probably just a whole lot quicker and easier to call the NCL 800 number. This way you will know immediately whether or not they can provide you with the exact items you are ordering. In the time it takes you to write out the fax, you can call and they will send you an INSTANT email confirmation so you will know IMMEDIATELY exactly what you ordered and how much was charged to your credit card. ;) [Just a little side note: FYI: For years I had a "free" fax number that rings into my fax machine. Since I got a local fax number through the telephone company, I had forgotten all about this fax number until I starting receiving several faxes from a doctor's office ordering x-rays and lab work for patients. There was very confidential information on this fax, like the patient's name, birthday and social security number. What there was not was a telephone number to call the doctor. So the first half dozen or more times, I got annoyed about it wasting my paper and ink, I shredded each fax. Then I decided to look at the sending fax number and I faxed a hand written letter back telling them that they were sending faxes to the wrong number. According to the area code this was a west coast doctor faxing to me on the east coast. I think my "free" fax number may have been based out of Utah. Would you believe I STILL received more faxes! The company canceled my "free" fax number because they said I was receiving too many faxes  which only stopped me from receiving these faxes, who knows where the doctor is faxing them to now  Makes me think when I send a fax if I dialed the right number."] :o

lambs2 Posted August 4, 2011 #105 Share Posted August 4, 2011 We used two of the coupons from slotplaycoupons.com on our NCL SUN transatlantic in April and the coupons worked perfectly. We actually came out a few dollars ahead of what we had invested and had lots of slot play time over the course of our 16 day cruise. We found it well worth doing!!! Do plan ahead as it takes a bit of time for the ship's casino to verify these coupons and load the funds to your casino card. We went down to the casino as soon as it opened the first night to start the coupon redemption process. Actually, we had to come back the next morning as they were too busy that first night to help us, but after going back the next morning to see the manager we were able to have the $50. each loaded to our casino card by the following day. Everything worked just like any other promotional play we have received at land casinos. We always cashed out any winnings and then accumulated the slips until they were a respectable amount before taking them to the casino teller for our payout. oceanseagle12 Posted August 4, 2011 #106 Share Posted August 4, 2011 Thanks lambs. There was discussion about another coupon from NCL that has been available from the bon voyage department, and was trying to find out if those who discussed ordering them had done so yet. Rare mitsugirly Posted August 19, 2011 #107 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Mitsugirly- I'm wondering if you called about this yet, and how it went. I just called today and purchased the slot play coupon. You just tell them it's item #721 and they charge you the $10 pp and give you $20. It still works even though it's no longer listed on NCL's site. :D They said when you arrive in your cabin, there will be a letter/certificate for it and you will simply take it to the casino for your card. :)
DPurcell58 Posted August 19, 2011 #108 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Is that something different than the $50 for $25??
oceanseagle12 Posted August 19, 2011 #109 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Is that something different than the $50 for $25?? Yes, although it works the same way. The difference is that the 50/25 coupon is purchased from slotplaycoupons, and the 20/10 is purchased from NCL. Mistusgirly- thanks for the update. Very good to know!! ttfd11 Posted August 31, 2011 #114 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Just called and ordered one for each of us for our cruise 4 days from now. No issues. Just told them I wanted to order a Bon Voyage gift - item #721.
amandajholden Posted October 4, 2011 #115 Share Posted October 4, 2011 I'm just catching up on this thread as I just read about SlotsPlay Coupons. I understand how that works. I also understand the $10 for $20 NCL deal and will phone and ask for #721. I'll order both those deals for myself and DH -- which really means $140 in slot play for ME! But DH plays Craps. Can someone please help me understand how the triple play chips work? The Craps tables are normally $5 tables... so is it as simple as getting 3 $5 chips for $10? Do these chips have limitations. Thanks for all the input on this tread. I'm glad it was all sorted out by the time I started reading :)
PreciousCruiser Posted November 23, 2011 #116 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Real recently (like this month), has anyone used both the Bon Voyage Gift #721 (pay $10 and get $20 in slot play), along with the coupon from slot play coupons dot com (pay $25 and get $50 in slot play)? Just want to make sure if you purchase both, you can use them both. Sounds like from reading these posts from August and prior that you can. Rare mitsugirly Posted November 23, 2011 #117 Share Posted November 23, 2011 I used both in September. It's not a problem. People do both all the time. No worries. They are 2 separate things. :)
PreciousCruiser Posted November 23, 2011 #118 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Thanks mitsugirly. I noticed that you used both coupons on one of your posts, but thought I'd ck. to see if anyone has tried to use both more recently (even though that was only 2 mos. ago). Also, I want to say again how much I enjoyed your review. It was GREAT! I got the NCL Bon Voyage Gift slot play coupon - now I need to get the other one!!!:) Happy Thanksgiving... For some reason Bon Voyage Gift #721 is not on the NCL website. But if you call them (I called the no. listed in this thread), inquire about it, give them your reservation #, etc., they will add it to your reservation, give them your cr. card info., they will give you a transaction #, and email you a confirmation, and the coupon should be in your cabin upon arrival... :)
Rare mitsugirly Posted November 24, 2011 #122 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Then when you arrive in your room, you will find an envelope waiting for you with a paper that is for your slot play. You simply take it to the casino cashier and they give you the card to use to play the slots. Real simple. :)

Mary in Maine Posted November 26, 2011 #124 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Have used them several times without any problem. They work the same way as any free play coupon you would get at a land casino.
skiwee Posted November 26, 2011 #125 Share Posted November 26, 2011 That must have been a special promo on the EPIC! I never remember seeing some thing like tnat on any of the NCL ships we have sailed! Has anybody else seen this? We just got the same deal on the Spirit last week. We bought 4 future cruise credits and got $125 for each one to be used in the casino.
