*Fake* LIVE thread from MerionMom on the Navigator NYE 2010

You said your balcony was kinda run down and showing it's age, do you mind if I ask which one you have? We'll have one of your favorites and I wanna make sure that's not it :p

Nope, just an ordinary D2: 7548.

The balcony was fine. No varnish on the railing didn't impact my use of the balcony. TG was fine with it, too. ;)

Was your CAS Trivia as outdated as the one we went to on the Navigator? It seems like the answer to at least half of the questions were waaaaaay out of date. The Nordic Empress was the answer to two or three questions regarding "which Ship, still currently in service,..."

Why even have the trivia if they can't spend 30 minutes every couple of years to make sure it's still accurate?

Also, just curious, why is the name of this thread *fake* LIVE thread. Seems like a real thread to me *shrug*

Yes, same quiz. Did you say anything to the CD staff person running it? I'd love to know how many people have informed them, and yet they are still using it.

A "real" live thread would have had more regular and frequent updates.

Sorry that you don't approve of my title. :D

I was on this cruise and all I can say is what a great time. We wanted to finally have the NYE everyone hopes for and we sure did. The Navigator crew was amazing as usual - everyone provided the best level of service. The NYE countdown at RP was great and so was the pool party. If you were still out there I was the guy singing Sweet Caroline on the microphone by the pool at 2:30AM. :)

Service was not very good up here, on a couple of different occasions.

(the drinks were good, though)

(a couple of people actually made some rather racist remarks to her)

The celebration continues in the Ixtapa Lounge. Does it get any better than this?

Oh my goodness - January 4th! (well, it's the 5th here on the east coast already!) Amazing that that was two whole years ago!

I'd love to sail with you guys again!

Same here! We look forward to seeing you onboard some time.

And btw, what was that thing that you and Lorna liked to do in Cozumel? I remember drinking was involved!:D

Susan, in case Carol doesn't get back to you ... it was the "Taste of Mexico" ShoreEx. Be sure to ask for Luis (he with the beautiful eyes). Have fun!

mmmmm...beautiful eyes, huh? :) Sounds delicious!!

Thanks, Lorna! Hope our paths cross again one day! :)

Susan ... did you SEE what I was talking about??? ;) :D

We played C&A trivia with you (or should I say lost to you):p. We were the group playing the dice game beforehand. Had a great time on the ship.

Thought the service was great. Ship still looks good for its age. We were in a handicapped JS that was in good condition. Wish we had made the meet & mingle!

Loved the 2011 glasses by the way!
