Shopping Question

Just wondering if anyone has shopping experience at Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas..

 

How far from the cruise ship dock is it?

 

Specifically I'm looking at buying a Louis Vuitton bag while I'm there are the prices the same as in the U.S and on the website?

It depends on where you dock. If you dock at WICO then you can walk over to Yacht Haven Grande. Total time to walk between 5-20 minutes depending how far down the dock your ship docks and how fast you walk.

 

If you dock at Crown Bay the you are looking at a 15-25 minute cab ride depending on traffic- about $8 per person each way. Knowing what ship your on will help me know which dock you'll be at.

The last time (one year ago) I was there the prices were about the same, but no tax of course. The selection was not great. And I had heard they were closing. Are they still there?

From what I read on the Louis website they are still listed as an open location - but I guess I'll find out this week :D
