Hi all,

Forgive me if this has already been posted, I searched, but did not find it.

The Port of Galveston gives FREE parking to American Veterans with disabilities. Check out their website -- http://www.portofgalveston.com/cruiseinformation/parking.shtml

Disabled Vets and Purple Heart Recipients: Free parking will be offered upon arrival to applicable persons with valid documentation from the US Government stating that they are a disabled Military Veteran or Purple Heart recipient and a picture ID. Acceptable forms of proof are: DD214, Dept. of Veteran’s Affairs Service Connected ID Card, or Vehicle Registration with Disabled Veteran or Purple Heart designation. Must be presented at the time of arrival.

Merry Christmas and happy cruisin' to all.
