We are wondering if you can take a water taxi to carriacou? we are in Grenada from 8 to 5 . Is it worth trying to go there? What is there to do there? Should we just tdo a tour of grenada?

Regarding getting to Carriacou - Ummm 'no', 'definitely not'. 'dont even think about it' and just in case it isn't getting through 'nooooooo'

We have a ferry in the morning and another in the evening so you would never be back in time to get back on board your ship. It is a shame really as for the folks that think Grenada is the unspoilt caribbean they really should see Carriacou and Petit Martinique.

Every so often there is an operator who ofers to go but the trip is quite horrific in a little boat as you pass close to Kick 'em Jenny and Kick 'em Jack our underwater volcanoes which can create quite disturbed waters. I'm wating with bated breath for Jenny to break the surface and create our new island but it could be a while yet. :)
