Two Crown Princess Questions

Looking at the Crown Princess (Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize, Cozumel) does it matter which side of the ship we are on if we want to see land when docked?

Also, in terms of motion sickness, is there a difference between the Baja and Caribe decks?

Thank you in advance :)

The big difference between Baja and Caribe are in the balconies. Baja balcony is completely covered. Caribe balcony is much larger and half covered/half not.

Nope. Grand Cayman and belize are tender ports.

Crown docks at extended piers in both Roatan and Cozumel.

Stern first at Roatan (yes, the ship actually backs in) fore at Cozumel.

Another Nope Baja and Caribe are so close there'd be little difference in motion. I doubt it would be noticeable.

Regardless of deck, midship and low is the best choice if you're sensitive to motion.

Plaza is as low as you can get unless you bunk with the crew.

It's a good choice for access to a number of venues including International Cafe, Wine Bar, Internet Cafe and Anytime dining rooms.

A tip: Crown Princess is a proper noun. The only proper noun prefaced by the is The Donald.:p

Correct. If you are prone to motion sickness, the lower the deck and mid-ship is the best place to be. If your choice is between Baja and Caribe, it would depend on the cabin location. Caribe is generally better because of the balcony but if it's a lot further forward or aft than the cabin on Baja, and the Baja cabin is closer to mid-ship, go with the Baja cabin.

We took these pics of the differences in the balconies of the decks on the Crown Princess:

Here is a view of all the decks and balconies with the Dolphin deck of the minisuites out the furthest:

and the Emerald deck minisutes that are covered including the nice furthest back one (E731):
