Advice on booking- TA vs RCI website?

Recommended Posts

Hello! We are looking to book 2 rooms on the Freedom of the Seas. My is a crown and anchor member and has the Royal Caribbean credit card. Would it be more beneficial to book through the RCI website or through a TA? Their will be 8 of us traveling, and the booking may be a little tricky(wanting to get certain rooms and certain locations). Any advice?

I always use a TA. Others will tell you to book direct with RCI. If you book with RCI, you have control of the reservation. If you book with a TA, the TA will control the reservation. Quite often a TA will offer perks such as a bottle of wine in the cabin or maybe an OBC for the cabin. I would think that with 8 people you will get some perks if you book with a TA.
