2012 Booking?

My wife and I have found a cruise and stay holiday we really fancy, however at present the deals only cover 2011 and we dont want to go until March 2012.

 

When we cruised in 2009 we booked that in January 2008, about 15 months ahead of departure, that also involved extending the holiday after the cruise with a stay in other locations so we are wondering why we cannot book this far ahead this time.

 

The cruise we want is available for US based cruisers on the Carnival.com site but not for UK cruisers on Carnival.co.uk. We want this time to book the whole event, cruise, stay and flights in one go rather than as separate entities.

 

Does anyone know if it is possible to book cruise and stays this far in advance and if so would we have to use a specialist travel company rather than the normal high street TA.
