Cotton or Micktooth~Do you know if there are any activities or parades planned the weekend of the 19 & 20 for St Joseph Day? We are staying in the French Quarter so just curious if we should partake :-) Thanks!!!

St. Joseph's Day Parade

French Quarter 504-522-7297

The ONLY St. Joseph's Day parade in America. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Canal & Chartres. This year's Grand Marshal is Vito from "The Sopranos."

 

 

Sunday, March 20

Super Sunday

Various locations

The Mardi Gras Indians make their appearance around St. Joseph's Day. Generally, the processions begin around Bayou St. John & Esplanade Ave. and Washington & LaSalle streets.
