The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Canal & Chartres. This year's Grand Marshal is Vito from "The Sopranos." Sunday, March 20 Super Sunday Various locations The Mardi Gras Indians make their appearance around St. Joseph's Day. Generally, the processions begin around Bayou St. John & Esplanade Ave. and Washington & LaSalle streets.
