teppanyaki restaurant on gem

Any comments would be appreciated about the Teppanyaki restaurant on the Gem. several years ago my wife & I ate there on the Pride of Hawaii and had a wonderful time. Some say the Teppanyaki on the Gem is not good. Recent experiences will be appreciated.

I ate at Teppanyaki on my 12/11 Gem cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. The garlic fried rice was amazing!

Went to Teppanyaki last feb on the Gem :D

 

It was delicious..... the rice, the veggies, the fillet mignon :D:D, the lobster tail and shrimps and THE SHOW !!!

 

It was well worth the extra $ asked for.

 

It is always the first restaurant to show "complete" every night so book it early.

 

And don't forget to ask for your extra shrimp or lobster BEFORE the show starts.

DH and I had dinner at Teppanyaki December 26, 2010. We loved the food and the show. As others posted, it is well worth the price. The meals are listed as combinations, but you can ask for your own combination. For example one choice is shrimp and filet, DH did not want shrimp and was able to order the scallops. For the non meat eaters a vegetarina option is also offered, noodles and veggies, yummy!!! Enjoy. Book as early as possible reservations fill up quickly.
