Do you just hand them a cash tip? I wasn't sure if the staff can take cash from guests...

dunblane.andersons Posted January 7, 2011 #11 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Yes I just had them cash and you can tell they appreciate it. They do such a good job with the children I just like to show them my appreciation. At the end of our cruise last year we wanted to show our appreciation to the staff for looking after our two children so well during the two weeks we were on vacation. We weren't sure whether or not they could accept tips so we decided to ask them! They said that they could accept them and anything that was split between all staff. We put some US dollars in an envelope and handed it over on the last night. Not sure if it is the case on all ships but was last summer on IOS. I am not sure what happens if they are given gratuities night by night.
