You can't reserve tables on P&O it is first come first served on Freedom dining.

We are trying freedom dining for the first time with the children. Any hints and tips about what times should be avoided so we don't have to wait?

In the past we have always preferred fixed dining second seating but over the years it seems on second seating we are missing out on more and more entertainment. Last year we tried anytime dining on Grand Princess and it worked out fine, choosing our dining times to fit in with whatever entertainment we wanted to see that night. Mostly we just turned up and sat at the next available table but once or twice we just wanted a table for 2 and were able to book it in advance (but only for the same day) hence my question. In over 30 years of cruising, this will be our first time with P&0, not sure why we have never tried them before. Have been on Sea Princess, which is sister ship to Oceana so should feel at home. This will be our first Suite (C749) so if any one has any photos of this cabin or any tips on what to expect they will be gratefully received. Dennis
