HAL's answer to my letter

Hi,

 

About three weeks ago we booked the 3/5/05 sailing on the Zaandam. Both my TA and I had trouble with HAL's booking agent on the phone. The trouble was first we were told that there was an AARP discount, late after full payment we were told no discount by HAL. At that time my TA got us a different rate that gave us an up grade. So I was happy. But I did write a letter to HAL explaining what happen and that I need to trust the person on the other end of the phone when I book a cruise I told HAL that I didn't want any thing more that what I booked.. Last week I got a letter from HAL.

They were very nice. I was told that my booking was now a VIP booking status. Which would give me a bouquet of flowers in my room, a bottle of champagne and an invitation to the VIP cocktail party.

I can't get over how nice they were to us.
