Embarkation Day out of HNL on Royal

For those of you that have been on the Royal on the Hawaii to Tahit, we were wondering if they stick to the assigned seating that first night or is it open seating?

We were on the Royal (Hawaii to Tahiti) in September. The dining room gave us our assigned seating the first night. This was the first cruise we went on that left so late - we were in the middle of dinner and noticed that we were moving!!!

 

Have a wonderful time - we did!
