We are due to go on our first cruise in June, so all new to us, can someone tell us do we pay for using the laundry facilites washing machine, iron etc? thanks

The laundrettes are free to use but you have to provide your own detergent which you can either take with you, buy from the on board shop or buy when you are ashore.

I always take one of those plastic rings with a couple of dozen pegs attached, and some handwash. Swimsuits and underwear will dry quite quickly with the air conditioning, and it is easy to move the ring to use the shower.
