Trip Insurance...is it too late?

Is it possible to purchase trip insurance 3 weeks prior to our vacation? I know I can't get it through RCI but I was wondering if I can get it through a private company this close. We surely hope we don't need it but there is a chance of a medical issue tripping things up.

After being stranded in England for 8 days, and being injured on the ship, I can't recommend travel insurance enough!

Just be aware that most insurance policies purchased more than 15 days after your trip was booked DO NOT cover pre-existing medical conditions.

You CAN buy travel insurance that will cover existing conditions, even at this late date, but it is VERY VERY VERY expensive.
