BobolGrobol Posted January 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Hi all, I am not new to Carnival (love them), but am new to the Upper Deck. We usually stay on Empress, but due to some seriously bad planning on my part, we are now in 6312. By using cruisedeckplans, it seems that 6312 is right above the casino or maybe the sports bar. Is this such a bad cabin that I should try and switch? We're rapidly running out of time (and choices) as far as switching goes. It seems like maybe the casino wouldn't be so bad (or maybe it is) and that the sports bar would be horrible (or maybe it isn't). *sigh* Does anybody have any advice or experience? I am a light sleeper, but we always travel with a portable fan that makes a ton of racket (not sure why I can sleep with that noise but not others...). Any input is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Ang :D
elcuchio24 Posted January 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2011 It really depends what you are on top of, as you have figured out. Usually as long as you aren't on top of a dance club, piano bar, or the main theater, you're ok. I have stayed over the casino in ships before and it wasn't an issue. RICKAR Posted January 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Was located over the Eagles Aft Lounge. I expected to have party central below us all night, but I was wrong. There were only a few times that I heard the music, but nothing to complain about.

SG81 Posted January 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2011 not sure how close this is to 6312, but we were in 6251 on the Glory and we didn't haer any noise that bothered us
