We will be in town for 4 nights pre-cruise and have decided to attend the Jazz Festival on Saturday the 23rd.

 

My question is, how far is the venue from the FQ? Walking distance? Public transport? Whats the best way to get there?

One of the Canal Street streetcar lines will take you to within a few blocks. Coming back I might take a taxi - should be faster.

Wow, thanks for the links folks. I was looking over last years food offerings. This is like no fair I have ever been to.... can't wait.

The Jazz Fest is a lot of fun and has gotten to be very crowded. I would suggest looking into a shuttle that usually leaves from the SuperDome and drops you off right at the gate. You can by your tix and shuttle passes together. I live in NO and this is what I do.
