Flying from UK Thomson Airways/Premium seats

Just wondering if anyone knows what you actually get with the Premium seat package when Princess charter through Thomsons ? We tried to book our seats on the aircraft & after speaking to Princess it was not an option this facility is something Princess at present dont offer. We have flown Premium with Thomsons many times (on a Thomsons holiday long haul) but do you still get drinks / meal choice & extra bits when Princess are pulling the strings ?

Our son and his partner were extremely disappointed with Thomson so called premium seats. They booked them for a trip to Orlando and paid extra because one of them is 6ft 4ins tall and most of his height is legs! When they got to Gatwick there was a 6 hour delay and when the plane eventually arrived it was a short haul aircraft with no premium seats. Although they explained that it would be extremely uncomfortable to sit in economy seats being so tall they were not given any help. It was not until one of them burst into tears at being so uncomfortable that the air stewards tried to help by moving them to aisle seats. The same thing happened on their return journey although they were given bulk head seats so not so bad. They are still in dispute with Thomsons. They would only fly with Virgin or another scheduled flight now. With a cruise it is just not worth the risk. Thomson do not have enough long haul aircraft for back up and therefore there is a chance of missing your cruise. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Princess used to use BA. Maybe our son was unlucky but from looking on line after the event it seems that they were not the only ones, nor the only flights.

If I recall right you get better movies cattle class have to pay extra for them,

 

You get a real cup for your tea

 

There was a one free drink

 

there was something about the food but can not recall what but it was not much,

 

And thats about all
