Cabin 5.251 on the Queen Mary

Can anyone give me any idea of what it is like to live in a inside cabin on Deck Five at the rear. Is there much noise? We are looking at 5.251 but any inside cabin on Deck 5 at the rear of the ship would be great.

The inside cabins are ok, you won't have any noise issues as you are underneath mor cabins on deck 6.

We were in that cabin on the 10 day cruise that left on Nov. 27. Great cabin. No noise issues, and well located for the dinning rooms, Kings Court and The Queens Room.

 

And you can't beat the price.

In Dec we did a 15 night cruise in cabin 5187. No noise from below (cabins), or above (cabins). The cabin is a little smaller compared to Celebrity or Holland America, but well designed. Very, very quiet!

:) Many thanks to you all for your replies. It seems to be just what we were looking for, nice and quiet. We are on the Queen Victoria in April but have managed to secure that cabin on the Queen Mary next January from Southampton, right round Australia and flying back from Freemantle and as you say a great price.
