Carnival Valor - Cabin 2477 or 2462?

I am looking for some help.

 

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these two cabins, and if you could tell me which one would be the better choice?

 

Carnival Valor - Cabin 2477 or 2462

 

From what I can find out, 2462 has two windows, which might be a nice option but has no couch? Can someone confirm this for me? had two chairs and a small table.

 

Just wondering if 2477 might be larger?? But do understand this cabin has the couch, and one window.

 

Or would you be better off to take a cabin on the port or starboard side that is not an odd shape?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It looks to me like 2477 is significantly larger and since it is a corner cabin, I suspect it will be quite nice. Also it is not next to a stairway like 2462 is. Stairways can be noisy areas on ships with the walls being knocked into by passersby or crew members.

stairway is for crew only and you should not get noise from that area.

 

cabin is bigger then a regular oceanview BUT you could get a lot of shuddering/vibration when leaving or entering port.

 

2462 is the L shaped cabin- although the cabin looks bigger a lot of the sq footage can not be used.

 

If you had a choice between this 2462 or a regular side cabin-- take the regular side cabin
