Cove Balconies too far from Lido deck???

There is a huge amount of positive feedback about the Dream's Cove Balconies. I would love to try one, but I am not excited about 8 flights of stairs to get to the lido deck. I don't like taking/waiting for the elevators, and I'm worried that as great as the Cove Balconies are when you're in them, the distance to get to the upper decks will be tough. We have kids and I feel like we are constantly running back to the stateroom for something or other. We will be on the Dream for the first time in March and ended up booking a balcony on deck 7. I have read the negatives about the balconies looking out over the Promenade Deck, but I think being closer to the action is better for the kids. Any thoughts?

Extra stairs = less weight gain to work off after the cruise. :D

unless you plan to make multiple trips everyday from the highest decks to your cabin, you really have nothing to worry about. Besides, the casinos, clubs, stores, etc are not on the lido.

Don't like climbing 8 flights of stairs - up and back?

 

Book a higher deck......there are no other alternatives.

Stayed in a cove on October. We had no issues catching an elevator to any level. Minimal wait. I have another cove booked for May. Don't think I would book anything else!
