AOS in Barbados

Has anyone done the rum tours in Barbados? Are they worth going on or should we just buy a bottle of rum and head to the beach? I've been to Barbados before and rented a car ( along with our cabin steward!) to drive around the island....very fun! We will be there on the AOS in early march.
