Belize car rental?

Not sure what the rental charges for one day are, but I think they go for around US$40-US$70 You may have to take a cab to the airport to rent a car, then return it and take a cab back to the Tourism Village. This adds at least an hour to your time. Depending on where the rental car agency is, you might also have to pay airport fees, even though you didn't come by plane. Look up Crystal Rental car, its owned by an ex Texan and their cars are fairly new. At one time they advertised they would pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Belize City. But pay attention to the fine print. And get insurance. Also watch restrictions on road use. Some vehicles aren't suitable for unpaved roads.
