When you decide which places you want to see just take local taxi; distances from port to most city attractions are quite short. Also there is HOHO bus that comes close to port.

Actually I've visited Malaga several times I wanted to book a car/driver for an early morning transfer to the airport from a hotel.

In that case ask the hotel to call the taxi or call yourself (Radio Taxi 952 040 804 or Unitaxi 952 333 333).

We used a private car and driver from La Linea de conception to Malaga in 2008. It was another company though. I believe it was called Malaga Taxi. I know that sounds too generic. The driver met us right on time and service was very good.

I've found when needing to leave early for a flight I feel more comfortable having a car/driver to pick us up at the hotel.
