wentworth Posted March 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2005 Am trying to book cruise and choose our cabin. How can I tell if we have an obstructed view from our balcony. We are looking at the Inspiration and are choosing a suite room. Is there a way I can log on to the room itself and tell if the view is obstructed? deaconlar Posted March 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2005 I would suggest calling the cruise line and ask for their evaluation of the suite you are considering. I had the same question a couple of weeks ago about my view from the my balcony on the Celebrity Constellation. I called and was not happy with the answer I received so I called again and felt I was speaking with someone who knew the ship. Also use your travel agent. The same is true here. If you are not satisfied keep asking. Good Luck and Happy Cruising, Larry
jcanino Posted March 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2005 Am trying to book cruise and choose our cabin. How can I tell if we have anobstructed view from our balcony. I don't believe any of the suites have obstructed views on the Inspiration.
kitty9 Posted March 2, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I don't know of any high end suite that has obstructed views. Those types of cabins are generally the lower priced cabins.
Sheffie Posted March 3, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2005 While I was looking at cabins on Orbitz, when I got to the part for picking out a cabin it was noted which ones had obstructed views. Hope this helps. Michelle
fay54 Posted March 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2005 If you pull up the deck plans for your ship, you should be able to see whether your room has anything that would obstruct the view. We once had a balcony room and the life boats were under our balcony. I did not like it because you could not look down you had to look straight out. Have had an unobstructed balcony and it was great.
vijoge Posted March 4, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2005 I called and was not happy with the answer I received so I called again . . . If you are not satisfied keep asking. Larry Asking more than once may certainly give you more than one answer but it won't change the facts. LOL!
