Our taxi driver last time told us that we needed passports and that if we didn't have them, it was a $50 per person fine both going and coming back. We freaked out.

 

Then she burst out laughing.

 

She was great :)

 

But not, you don't need anything

for a great lunch and then some cheese and bread to bring back to the ship and some specialty foods we take home. The harbour there is really pretty.

 

Thanks for the info. I think I'd like going there, not sure about DH though.

We were told that with your ship card, you do not need a passport?? I know it is better to have a passport on hand for anything that may happens but prefer to leave it in the safe...

 

Along with the ship card we take along a credit card and a photocopy of the first page of our passport just in case.
