Having checked all possible ways to get to Southampton I've decided to fly from our local airport which is only 30 mins away. One short stop to collect other passengers at Leeds. Cutting the travel time down to 2 hours instead of 6 hours driving.

 

We are flying the day before, so no chances of being late.

Well at least you know that you will be there in time Catherine. That is one reason why we sometimes travel down to Southampton the day before embarkation, so that we do not (literally) "miss the boat"!
