Another MDR question--but not about dress code!

This is our first X cruise, although we have cruised many times before on other lines. We made reservations for Qsine on the second formal night, and now I am second guessing that decision. For those of who have been on the Western Eclipse would it be wiser to change that date to one of the "normal" MDR nights? Would we be missing a special menu on the second formal night? (No we cannot eat in Aqua). This board has been so helpful -hope you can assist me again!:)
