Snorkeling on Motu Mahana or Bora Bora Private Motu?

We will be on the PG 5/25/11 sailing and will be spending a day in Ta'aha. The ship offers their own private motu and BBQ for the day. Does anyone know if there is good snorkeling there? Also the same question for the PG Bora Bora Motu.

In Tahaa we are thinking of doing the coral garden drift snorkel in the morning and then the motu for the rest of the day.

The snorkeling at the motu at Taha'a was great. We even saw a stonefish that the dive team took out of the water in a net and placed in a plastic tub for the day. I saw an octupus capture a large mollusk as well as tons of other fish.

The snorkeling at the motu on Bora Bora was also great. Some people had heard that some of the drift snorkeling can be tough due to currents but I have not first hand info on that.
