Our tickets also arrived last Wednesday for Cuban Adventure 10th Feb and no change to itinerary (except of course the change to Dominica from St Lucia which we were advised about 2 weeks after we'd booked. 6 of us have already been to both ports but some first time cruisers coming with us were disappointed) We shall all be disappointed if we don't get to Costa Maya as it is one of the few ports we haven't been to and along with Havana was one of the main reasons we booked this cruise. I (am the only one of our party of 8 to have sailed with Thomson before and I know everyone is going to compare it with OV so I do hope everything is sorted before we go or they will never go on another Thomson ship and we'll have to go with the 'old fogeys' on P & O!!! (P & O because the other cruise lines are too big) Saying that I've already booked for me and my partner on the Celebration in July!! But what we'll do next winter, wel.......

Thomson Spirit Oct 2004 Transition Med to Red Sea

Thomson Celebration Jan 2006 Red Sea Magic

Oh you an ex OV pax too are you? So are we been on 6 times I think and it was so hard to find a ship to go on this year. We picked the Dream because of Havana, Costa Maya and Samana as we have never been to any of those before either. If this one doesn't suit we don't know which one to go on next year either. We thought that the Dream would be very similar to OV, in size and being british but after following the reviews don't still know if we have made the right choice.

Ah well it's to late now

Hi Montymania I know this is a late reply but I hope you enjoyed the Dream. We had fun and games when the Cubans gave us some crap fuel and we drifted the Caribbean for 6 hours which made us miss the Dominican Republic but the stand in German captain kept us entertained!! We should have been on tender for Tortola but because we missed DR we got there before the Destiny and took their berth. My only complaint of the ship was there was no atmostphere unlike on the Spirit and Celebration because most people liked the lido deck (no music) and they insisted on having the entertainment on the top pool deck, which was very windy and not well attended.
