Do you need to swim to the Baths?

If you take the ferry over, it docks in Spanish Town. From there, you take a taxi to the Baths. The taxi drops you off by a restaurant called Top Of The Rocks. From there, you walk down to the beach and the entrance to The Baths. When you are in among the rocks, you do need to wade through some water, but you never have to swim if you don't want to. I would certainly wear something on my feet. Sneakers would work, but they will get wet. You can find water shoes very cheap and I think they are the best way to go.
