lynnly Posted March 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I have an oceanview room in the back of the boat opposed to the rooms on the sides. Are these good rooms. I am on the upper deck of the ecstacy.I still have time to change the room if necessary. Thanks
stlrboo Posted March 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2005 It is definitely a different 'view' than you may be used to, but a lot of people really enjoy that area of the ship for their cabin. You are also sandwiched between cabin decks, so noise etc, should be minimal. :) Balcony cabins in this area of other ships, so equipped, afford a larger balcony in most cases, and those cabins are generally some of the first to be booked. Our next cruise on the Miracle is an aft cabin.. 6264 on Empress. Our cruise in April 2006 on RCI Jewel of the Seas is an aft cabin, JS 1100! :D You may notice a little noise when docking and leaving ports when the ship is manuvering, but nothing when 'sailing'.. Have fun! I'd keep the cabin.. :p
