solstice class fridge

They are mini-bars...but could always get a few more items in there: bottled water, milk, yogurt etc.

They are not the kind of mini bars that if you pick something up to move it that it registers as a purchase. I suspect our cabin steward assessed contents at least once a day and replinished as needed.

We remove everything from the mini-bar and use it for our own things. The steward will remove it all if you ask... or you can do it yourself. We've always found room for it all in a cupboard or shelf near the fridge. Just let him know where you put it all... he'll put it all back the last night of the cruise.

We asked our steward to empty our fridge but he said no, as there was nowhere to store it. We had to stack it all on the top under the TV - not great! You will have to fiddle around with the shelf in the fridge to get a bottle of wine in there...

A lot of the stewards use the X tote bag to store the extra items and just put them under the bed. You could have just put the stuff in an empty suitcase to keep it all together. ;)

The shelf slides out easily. Not a big deal at all for making room for the wine. :D

We were told specifically that we had to put it on view so that it could be checked easily every day.

Our shelf did not slide out easily as the door was in the way, we had to spend a little while jiggling with it to get it out.

Sometimes I get a little bit fed up with people on this board who choose to question your own experiences when theirs was different...
