What are we missing?

This is our second cruise to Alaska. On the first, we took a float plane trip in Juneau, went to Mendenhall glacier, ate at a saloon and shopped. In Skagway rented a car and spent the day driving along the railway, saw Emerald Lake, stopped for lunch etc, in Ketchikan we went fishing with Northern Lights. We loved it all.

 

On this trip, we are taking a whale watching tour in Juneau with ORca Enterprises, and riding with DYEA Dave up and taking the train back in Skagway. So now what to do in Ketchikan? Thinking about taking Bering Sea's Fishermen's Tour or the boat to Misty Fjord? Any suggestions? We are on the Celebrity Infinity. What are we missing out on? Thanks

I agree with bearbait on this one. Also try not to make the rookie mistake of overscheduling yourself with every minute of the day booked up.

 

I enjoy Alaska the most when I am free to just wander about.

We did a riverrafting trip at one stop and did a kayaking trip on another. Both were fantastic and should be considered too! :)

The Bearing Sea Crab Fisherman's Tour was one of our favorites of the trip, whether you are a fan of the show or not. Make sure to take a camera as they don't advertise that you will see TONS of eagles... it's practically a guarantee and we got some AMAZING photos!

We are doing that this time around. It got great reviews and looks kid friendly so I figured it should be fun!
