Afraid to miss the ship

If I book through an independent tour operator for cave tubing will I miss the ship? I do not want to be late and get stuck in Belize! Does this happen often and what are some good tour operators that will ensure my group's safety and prompt arrival back to the ship.

What's your tour? Which ship are you on? How long are you in port? And does the ship observe local time or ship's time (meaning the time it was at the US port you embarked at didn't chang eto local time when you reached Belize.

In general, you should try to be back to the Tourism Village an hour and a half to two hours before your ship is scheduled to depart Belize. The last tender to the ship is generally an hour before departure.
